After the Second World War, for whatever reasons, the United States has emerged as the centre of this global system. The survival of the US as a superpower, expansion of its hegemony and the function of global capitalism now mostly depend upon war machine and militarism. That gives birth to a new phase of imperialism and becomes a threat to not only people and nations in the periphery but also the whole human civilisation.................
